Lower Logging Levels on HP TouchPad

Following up on our previous article about the HP TouchPad Performance Tweaks as I am sure many of you bought one recently and if you have not you should try to get one as this is a nice device for $99! Out of the box the HP TouchPad is a bit sluggish to say the least, it appears some of it is due to the extensive logging enabled by HP. Notion Ink Adam Eden 1.5 for Toshiba Folio 100

The Toshiba Folio 100 was one of the first Android tablets available with the NVidia Tegra 2 CPU, it’s main drawback is that it didn’t come with Honeycomb and couldn’t access officially the Android Market… But thanks to the XDA developers we have seen an Honeycomb port for this tablet and now it is the Notion Ink Adam Eden 1.5 OS which has been ported for the Toshiba Folio 100 in FolioNotion 3.0.1. HSPL Revision 2 for HTC Windows Phone 7 Devices

Microsoft will soon release the latest Windows Phone 7 release: Mango or Windows Phone 7.5 but if you feel adventurous you can already install the latest developer build (7720) on your Windows Phone 7 device like the HTC HD7. Build 7720 of Windows Phone 7 is considered to be an RTM release so it’s final code but carriers and OEMs like HTC or LG will most likely add their secret sauce to it prior to its release this Fall. VegaComb 3.2 for Advent Vega

We’ve been following the VegaComb custom ROM for the Advent Vega for a little while now and a brand new release based on Honeycomb 3.2 just came out as VegaComb 3.2. This is a major breakthrough and based on the developer’s comments this is a full fledged native port of Honeycomb 3.2 with hardware acceleration etc. So if you own an Advent Vega tablet you'd better start picking up this VegaComb 3.2 ROM. Windows Phone 7 Backup Tool v1.6

We’ve talked about Windows Phone 7 Backup Tool previously, this app created by hx4700 Killer is written in .NET and has the ability to backup entirely your Windows Phone 7 device. It uses the Zune updater tool in order to accomplish its backup or restore task. In its latest update (v1.6) a couple of new features have been introduced: manage backups and archives, simpler installation (will install Support Tools and PKS files if necessary), path settings can be changed.

The Logitech Revue was one of the first Google TV box to hit the market and it is now the first Google TV box to get a Android Honeycomb update! It’s an unofficial update but now that the Logitech Revue price has dropped to $99 how can you resist getting one? Note that is not a leaked version of the official Honeycomb but rather a beta version so you will experience bugs etc. but it’s worth a try if you just want to experiment.
