Hulu is a great way to watch your favorite TV shows but it is, unfortunately, not available to Android phones and tablets. I guess Hulu would rather have you pay for Hulu Plus but anyway thanks to shep211 @ XDA it is now possible to enjoy Hulu videos on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 using your Internet browser.

We covered recently how to root your Acer Iconia Tab A500 with Honeycomb 3.0 installed on it, now that Acer released their Honeycomb 3.1 update for the Acer Iconia Tab A500 a new method to root it has been released. It is actually even easier than the original one and will allow you to run all the custom ROMs that are being released for that tablet. Let’s find out how after the break.

The folks @ Pop Bottom Games have just released a new game for iOS called W.O.D.A (Watch Out Danger Ahead). W.O.D.A is the first game developed by Pop Bottom Games and is a platform style game available now for the iPhone and iPod Touch. More after the break.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is one of the nicest Android Honeycomb tablet out there and Samsung was kind enough to ship some of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with unlocked bootloaders which extend this device capabilities. For example it is now possible to install a custom kernel which will overclock the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 CPU to 1.4 GHz. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is already fast out of the box and it just got way faster.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab was the first Android tablet to come to the market with a version of Android not designed for tablets: Froyo (aka Android 2.2). We can be sure that Samsung will never release Honeycomb for the original Galaxy Tab as the new Galaxy Tab version has now been released. But thanks to the folks @ XDA you can install a custom ROM and get the benefits of Honeycomb today on your original Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The Sony Xperia Arc and Neo smartphones are both Android devices running Gingerbread, the Arc has a bigger 4.2 inches screen while the Neo has a 3.7 inches screen. They share some good hardware specs both having a 1 GHz Qualcomm CPU and an 8 MP camera. They first came out with a locked bootloader like the Sony Xperia Play but can be unlocked and rooted easily. The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is a great Honeycomb tablet and it just got better with a ClockworkMod recovery port and its first custom ROMs. The Acer Iconia Tab A500 had been rooted for quite a while but this ClockworkMod port is the best thing that happened to it, now allowing developers to cook some custom ROMs and allowing us the end users to update our tablet whenever we feel like it. HTC Sense 3.0 comes with a lot of improvements and one that we are especially interested in is the new camera app which lets you take panoramic pictures. It also allows you to record 1080p videos if your smartphone is capable of doing it. This new version of HTC Sense is only coming with the newest HTC devices but thanks to francois.d.dillinger @ XDA it is now possible to install this camera app on any device running HTC Sense like the HTC EVO.

hx4700 Killer @ XDA released recently a backup tool for smartphones running Windows Phone 7. This utility is called Windows Phone 7 Backup and it does allow you to backup your Windows Phone 7 device using the Zune Updater tool. It does perform a complete backup of your phone so you can do a full restore when needed, quite useful given that no official tools offer this capability for Windows Phone 7 devices.

The Toshiba Folio 100 is a multimedia tablet which is not sold officially in the US but available in many other countries. The initial reviews were not very good and one of the main drawback of this tablet is that it doesn’t support the Android Market out of the box. About a month ago we were telling you about a new Honeycomb port for the Advent Vega, the custom ROM with Android Honeycomb for the Advent Vega is called VegaComb and version 1.5.2 was recently released.
