In this article we’ll have a look at 5 of the best Android games for tables and smartphones that we’ve seen in the past months.

  • SHADOWGUN

SHADOWGUN can be seen as Gears of War made for mobile devices. SHADOWGUN is a game created by MADFINGER games in which you play as John Slade, a bounty hunter, who needs to capture alive Dr. Edgar Simon. From the very beginning you’ll feel like SHADOWGUN is a blockbuster compared to the vast majority of mobile games. The graphics are top notch with great lighting and explosion effects, the gameplay is also solid. SHADOWGUN will entertain you for a while.

  • 9MM HD

9MM HD from Gameloft is a cross between GTA and Max Payne, you control John Kannon a cop who is battling against a local drug lord. This game also has amazing graphics for a mobile device, the gameplay is pretty good as well with some very minor hiccups. What sets this game apart from the others is the soundtrack if you’re into hip-hop and the slow motion effects a la Max Payne.

Overall we loved this game @ TechHackz, it will take you a couple of hours to finish it (4-5 hrs).

    • Riptide GP

Riptide GP is a water racing game created by Vector Unit, this same game developer created Hydro Thunder Hurricane for the Xbox 360 so they’re real water racing specialists!

Riptide GP is a great piece of entertainment with nice water effects, a great physics engine, multiple game modes and tracks. This game is also easy to control and allows you to do tricks in the air while you jump.

You won’t be disappointed. More info @ http://www.vectorunit.com/riptide-gp/

    • Samurai II: Vengeance

Samurai II: Vengeance was also created by the folks @ MADFINGER games. In this game you control a samurai (as you have already guessed I am sure) named Daisuke who is hunting down Orochi his evil enemy. This game has very nice cartoonish graphics as you’ll see in the video below, the gameplay is great and it is packed with a lot of action. This one is a winner!
