Android 4 aka Ice Cream Sandwich is coming up soon and as its release comes closer we start to see some of its apps leaked on the web. Yesterday it’s the Google Music App that got leaked and can now be installed on any Android device. What should you expect in Google Music 4.0.1: better and cleaner user interface, easier to use and faster as well as a look at what the Ice Cream Sandwich app will look like. More information after the break.
The Google Music App 4.0.1 from Android Ice Cream Sandwich looks really nice with a very polished look and feel. To install it, simply download the Google Music 4.0.1.apk file from XDA @ Google Music Beta 4.0.1. Once downloaded copy the apk file to your Android device and use your favorite File Manager to install it.
If you run into an issue with your online music not showing up at first then go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications. Open up the Music item then press Clear data and Force stop the app. Restart Google Music and everything should be working fine.
Users have reported this new Ice Cream Sandwich Google Music app both works on phones like the HTC EVO 3D or tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
