We didn’t have to wait very long for the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) port to be available. This time this ICS port is for the Samsung Nexus S and can be flashed as a custom ROM. This is very impressive and everything works fine with just a few bugs, amazing work by HAKA @ XDA. Hopefully this is just the start and we will see Ice Cream Sandwich ports appearing for most of the Android devices out there. Find out more after the break.

Many users have been able to install this ROM and use it on various carriers worldwide so this should work fine for you.

You can find the install instructions and the download file for this first custom ICS ROM on XDA @ [DEV][ROM] ICS Port. You will need root privileges on your device before you can install this custom ROM, the instructions are also on XDA.
