Following up on our previous article about the HP TouchPad Performance Tweaks as I am sure many of you bought one recently and if you have not you should try to get one as this is a nice device for $99! If you’ve installed all the patches we talked about yesterday you’re already on the right track but you should still change the Logging Levels to improve further your HP TouchPad performance. More info after the break.

Luckily the HP TouchPad performance issues can easily be fixed. To set the logging levels to their minimum, follow those simple steps:
  1. Open up the Launcher and go to Apps
  2. Start the Phone & Video Calls
  3. Type ##LOGS# (##5647#)
  4. Touch the green Dial button to open up the Collect Logs panel
  5. Select Change Logging Levels…
  6. Press the Set Logging To Minimal button and confirm
This will make sure your HP TouchPad doesn’t log each and every action, you should notice a faster TouchPad!
