To fix the auto rotate lag issue with the stock launcher on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1:
- Go to your home screen
- Simply press on the + button (right next to Apps)
- Now select any tab other than Widgets for example use App shortcuts or Wallpapers
- Go back to your home screen and try to rotate your Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, the screen will auto rotate faster than it used to.
We’ve tested this on a retail Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet and it did make a difference, it’s incredible that such a little tweak can do something. It doesn’t survive a reboot so if you’ve to reboot your tablet you will need to do this again.
