Netflix is finally available on Android devices but only on few devices like the HTC EVO 4G, hopefully it will become more widely available soon. Trying to use it on the Nook Color will give you an unsupported device error message. Thanks to japzone @ XDA, it is possible to edit a property file to trick the Netflix app and use it on your Barnes and Noble Nook Color.

Follow these instructions to start using Netflix on your Nook Color:

1. Backup your build.prop file (in /system/ folder) using Root Explorer
2. Using Root Explorer open your build.prop file in a Text Editor
3. Edit the following lines in the build.prop file:
   For CM7 nightly builds and Android 2.2 ROMs:
   ro.product.model=HTC Vision
   ro.product.manufacturer=HTC
   
   For Android 2.3 ROMs like CM7 Stable builds etc
   ro.product.model=Nexus S
   ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
   
4. Remove an extra spaces at the end of every line as it does cause problems
5. Save the build.prop file
6. Reboot your Nook Color
