The HTC Hub is HTC's first attempt at creating a custom UI like HTC Sense for Windows Phone 7. Given that Windows Phone 7 is not meant to allow customization easily this is not as ambitious as HTC Sense yet but it is still nice to have. The HTC Hub is obviously limited to HTC devices but thanks to Heathcliff74 @ XDA it is now possible to install it on any jailbroken Windows Phone 7 device.

Please note that we won't be responsible if you end up bricking your device. Rooting, jailbreaking or customizing your device can be risky, if you follow the instructions you should be fine!

You will need to jailbreak your Windows Phone 7 device before you can start installing the HTC Hub. To do so you can follow our instructions @ How to Jailbreak Your Windows Phone 7 Device.

To install the HTC Hub on your device then go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=923376, download the archives and install the XAP file using a XAP installer like Tom XAP Installer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=860964).

This port of the HTC Hub has been successfully tested on a Samsung Omnia 7 as well as other devices.

You can see the HTC Hub in action in this video from pocketnow.com:
