How To Root Your Motorola Atrix 4G

The Motorola Atrix 4G isn’t even out yet and it has already been rooted by designgears and Getaphixx. Motorola is well known for protecting its devices but it appears their strategy isn’t paying off… It is not yet possible to flash custom ROMs but you can already remove the bloatware AT&T has added among other things.

Please note that we won't be responsible if you end up bricking your device. Rooting or customizing your device can be risky, if you follow the instructions you should be fine!

You can root your Motorola Atrix 4G very easily using SuperOneClick, we’ve covered this root app @ SuperOneClick - One-Click Root for Android devices.
You have to install the Motorola drivers on your computer first using Motorola Helper, make sure you also enable USB debugging prior to connecting your Motorola Atrix 4G.
