If you have jailbroken your Windows Phone 7 device then you might have noticed that you cannot install more than 10 unsigned (non official) applications at a time. With the number of custom apps being developed for example on XDA it is handy to be able to remove that limit. Let’s see how.

Note that we will not be responsible if you end up bricking your device, rooting or jailbreaking your phone or tablet can be risky. If you follow the instructions carefully you will be fine!

Before you start you must first have dev unlocked / jailbroken your Windows Phone 7 device. To do so you can follow our instructions @ How to Jailbreak Your Windows Phone 7 Device.

(nico) @ XDA released a packaged app called RemoveSideloadLimit.xap that will basically modify your phone so that the limit of unsigned apps is increased to 100000! It should be enough to keep you entertained for a while…

This hack edits the registry of your Windows Phone 7 device to remove the 10 apps limit [from XDA]:

Using (official) unlock method, you won't be able to deploy more than 10 unsigned apps. 3 if you have a student account.
Chevron also have the same 10 limit (because they intentionally keep MS limit).

This registry tweak try to remove that limit.

You can download this XAP file @ http://bit.ly/gKZDgj and then install it using a XAP file installer like Tom XAP Installer for installer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=860964).

You can get more information about this application @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=916098.
