Posted by techhackz-admin Sunday, January 2, 2011

unrevoked, one of our favorite tool to root HTC devices, has just been updated and version 3.3 now supports HTC EVO 4G running the latest Over The Air (OTA) update: 3.70.651.1 and the latest HBOOT version: 2.10. It also comes with the latest release of ClockworkMod recovery from Koush . Check it out if you updated your HTC EVO and lost your root privileges or simply got an EVO for Christmas and want to root it.

Note that we will not be responsible if you end up bricking your device, rooting or jailbreaking your phone or tablet can be risky. If you follow the instructions carefully you should be fine!
unrevoked 3.3 also supports the latest HTC EVO 4G hardware revision (003 and 004) and is supposed to be more reliable than previous versions.

Update (01/04/11): unrevoked 3.31 has now been released, the changelog has been updated below.

If you’d like to root your HTC EVO 4G download unrevoked @ For more information about unrevoked3 go to
