Transform your Nook Color into a Kindle

Barnes and Noble recently mentioned that the Nook was its highest selling product family of all time and with all the great ways to hack the Nook and Nook Color it should keep on being successful. Today we will see how you can convert your Nook Color into an Amazon Kindle thanks to Android.

First of all you will need a rooted Nook Color, to root your Nook Color you can follow our instructions @ How To Root Your Nook Color.

Please note that we won't be responsible if you end up bricking your device. Rooting your device can be risky, if you follow the instructions you should be fine!

Now that your Nook Color is rooted simply head to to the Android Market that you will find listed in the Extras folder and download the Kindle application. Reboot your device and then Amazon Kindle should show up in the Extras folder!
