The Samsung Nexus S is a great device, it offers an excellent hardware, runs Gingerbread and it is easy to root. The folks at XDA have now managed to even overclock it to 1.4 GHz and record impressive Quadrant scores. So if you want to make your Samsung Nexus S even faster than it is, it is time to install this custom kernel.
Installing this custom kernel to overclock your Samsung Nexus S does require a rooted device, you can follow our instructions @ How To Root Your Samsung Nexus S to root your phone.

To install the custom Trinity kernels, head over to XDA @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893851 to download the files.
You can choose from 3 kernels: Trinity14 to overclock your Nexus S to 1.4 GHz, Trinity13 for 1.3 GHz and Trinity12 for 1.2 GHz. Install them from Recovery.
