Paul O’Brien @ MoDaCo recently released an application which installs the Android Gingerbread launcher on any Android 2.2 device. We told you about how to install the Gingerbread keyboard last week and with this launcher you can almost get the Gingerbread look and feel on your Froyo device. We’ll have to wait a little more to get all the improvements Gingerbread is supposed to bring.
This Gingerbread launcher is extremely simple to install. Simply head over to the Android Market and search for ‘Gingerbread Launcher’, pick the one from MoDaCo.
You don’t need a rooted device to use it, it should work on any Android 2.2 device.
