Android is a very flexible mobile OS and folks are trying to squeeze it anywhere they can, it runs on a couple of Windows Mobile devices, on iPhones and now it even runs on the Nokia N900 which is a mobile internet device (it can make calls too!). All of this was made possible by the NITDroid team.
The goal of the NITDroid team is to create a fully working Android port for two Internet tablets from Nokia: N900 and N8x0 and they have now released a working Android 2.2 (Froyo) for the Nokia N900.
If you’re a lucky owner of a Nokia N900 go to http://nitdroid.com/index.php?title=Main_Page and check out the instructions to install Android 2.2 on your device. You can do it using the N900-Autoinstaller or manually if you feel adventurous.
