The folks at SDX have been working hard to first root the Samsung Epic 4G and now they have also found a way to boot into recovery mode which should now allow us to install custom ROMs on this new 4G device. See the instructions after the break.
All the credits for this recovery mode hack for the Samsung Epic 4G goes to the SDX-Developers.
You will need to first root your device, see our instructions @ How To Root your Samsung Epic 4G.
You can download all the files to install the ClockworkMod recovery on your Epic 4G @ http://forum.sdx-developers.com/epic-development/clockworkmod-recovery-for-the-epic-4g!-build-20!-beta/.
