The iPhone has the Retina Display which is incredibly crisp but it would be even better if it was possible to display Live Wallpapers on your iPhone screen like on Android devices. Well this is now possible on a jailbroken iPhone 4 thanks to vWallpaper!
vWallpaper is compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch running iOS 3 or iOS 4. You will need to jailbreak your device to install it, if you have not yet jailbroken your iPhone 4 check out article: Jailbreak your iPhone and iPad with JailbreakMe
The installation instructions are quite simple:
1. Launch Cydia on your iPhone
2. Select Manage at the bottom of the screen
3. Then select Sources
4. Add the following source: http://i.danstaface.net/deb
5. Once Cydia is done search for ‘vWallpaper‘ for devices running iOS 4 or ‘vWallpaper for OS3’ for devices running iOS3.
You can now pick your video / live wallpapers directly inside vWallpaper, there is also an option to download new ones.
