2 days ago we talked about how to root the Motorola Droid X using a pretty complex procedure and for those of you who thought it was too hard there is now an application called DroidX Root that makes the rooting process extremely simple! Nothing prevents you now from rooting your Motorola Droid X.
As usual rooting your device can be risky, it may void your warranty. You’re following this process at your own risk, we will not be responsible for any damage caused to your device.
DroidX Root is basically a graphical UI created by Sil3ntKi113 that goes on top of the rooting process to simplify it.
You can download DroidX Root @ http://alldroid.org/Default.aspx?tabid=40&g=posts&t=553. DroidX Root is easy to use as there are only 2 options available: Root or UnRoot as you can see in this screenshot:
DroidX Root works only on Microsoft Windows and requires the .NET 3.5 framework to be installed.
If you want to follow the original rooting process take a look at How To Root Your Motorola Droid X.
All the credits for the Motorola Droid X root go to rainabba, Sebastian Kramer, birdman, [mbm].
