2 days ago we mentioned how to root your Sprint HTC EVO 4G and a new application called unrEVOked has now been released and greatly simplify the rooting process! Now there are no more excuses for not rooting your HTC EVO 4G ;)
You can download unrEVOked @ http://unrevoked.com/m/. You’ll get an APK file that you can install on your device using any File Manager.
This is an easy to use, one touch root solution for your HTC EVO 4G, it also works on the HTC Hero.
Note that this is more limited than the rooting method we mentioned recently, it is useful only if you want to run root applications but you cannot flash custom ROMs using it since there is no custom recovery.
