The Sprint HTC EVO 4G is one of the most anticipated Android device, its amazing screen and 4G compatibility makes it shine in the crowded Android phone market. Some lucky developers got their hands on the HTC EVO 4G at the Google I/O Conference in San Francisco and after just a couple of hours they have already been able to root it.
The credits for this hack go to Matt Mastracci, ozzeh and Joshua Wise, even so no details have been released yet about the hack itself we are pretty sure we’ll start to know more when the HTC EVO 4G will be on sale in the US. I can’t wait for the first custom ROM for the HTC EVO 4G without any Sprint bloatware to be released ;)
This hack cannot be applied to the HTC Incredible according to the developers.
