Android for Apple iPhone 3G Available for Download

image A couple of weeks back we talked about how you can run Android on an iPhone 2G and it is now possible to run Android the mobile Operating System from Google on the Apple iPhone 3G! This release isn’t for everyday use but is usable and give you a taste of Android while keeping your current device.

This port of Android for the iPhone 3G requires a jailbroken iPhone, you can follow the instructions @ Jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch using Blackra1n to jailbreak your iPhone 3G.

Installing this port of Android is not that simple, one of the tools it uses isn’t available on Windows for example so you’re warned: if you’re not technical well this is not really for you ;) If you feel adventurous see the instructions created by the developer @ http://www.pcworld.com/article/196595/how_to_install_android_on_your_iphone.html.

Most of Android on the iPhone is usable but the battery life is poor as none of the power management features have been implemented as of today.
