Paul from Android @ Modaco recently tweeted that he was able to get root access on the 2 latest HTC devices running Android: HTC Legend and HTC Desire. Apparently it was a pretty simple job, too easy for him ;) More info after the break!
Paul didn’t release a lot more information yet but we can expect more details and the first custom ROMs for both devices soon.
For those of you who don’t know the HTC Desire is basically the Google Nexus One phone while the HTC Legend is the HTC Hero successor. Both run Android 2.1 and come with HTC Sense!
We will post more information about how to root the HTC Legend and the HTC Desire as soon as it is available.
