Finally the wait is over! Windows Phone 7 was announced today by Steve Ballmer at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. The first phones using Windows Phone 7 Series should be available in the second half of this year and as you can see from the videos it is a complete departure from Windows Mobile 6.x. It does look like a game changer for Microsoft.
