Pocketnow.com just released a nice video preview of Windows Mobile build 23518, this build is sometimes referred to as Windows Mobile 6.6 which should be presented at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The much awaited Windows Mobile 7 should also be presented there according to many sources.
I have been using this build on my HTC device for the past 2 weeks and it works very well. The new Contacts UI is really nice, overall none of the changes are ground breaking but they do bring a more modern look and feel to Windows Mobile.
You'll also like the new Threads in the Email and Text Messages applications.
Windows Mobile 6.5 got some bad press since it didn't introduce a whole lot of new changes but those new 235xx builds are better and I do encourage you to give it a shot.
There are many custom ROMs available with those new builds cooked in.
