If you like the way the iPhone displays text messages then you're going to like this amazing hack! Windows Mobile is definitely not the best looking OS today but it is certainly one of the most customizable. This time someone found a way to enhance the look and feel of the Text Messages user interface.This hack adds colored bubbles around each text message (SMS), it makes it easier to identify the author of a message in a conversation and it is also way nicer to take a look at.
We have to thank yxyn for this customization, he created a thread at XDA Developers. Take a look at the thread to get a better understanding of how he created it. The look and feel can be changed if you don't like the ones packaged in the CAB files below.
To install this hack, follow these instructions:
1. Download the files from XDA Developers:
- Windows Mobile 6.5.3
- Windows Mobile 6.5
- Windows Mobile 6.5.3 [Different Style]
- Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 [Different Style]
These are CAB files.
2. Install the CAB file.
3. Soft-reset your device.
