I came across a nice registry hack recently that can drastically increase the speed of your Internet connection!
To change your registry settings open up PHM Registry Editor if it is cooked in the ROM you're using or use any other registry editor.
I used PHM Registry Editor to write this post.
Once you're inside your registry editor, go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
Then click on the Edit menu and select New DWORD Value
Add the 2 following registry values:
Value name: MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server
Value data: 32
Base: Decimal
Value Name: MaxConnectionsPerServer
Value data: 16
Base: Decimal
This one was already there on my Touch Pro.
You can now close your Registry Editor and soft-reset your device.
Once rebooted you can run a speed test and see if it improves your data connection speed.
